These plates include a Vapour-phase Hydrogen Peroxide (VHP) exposure indicator to confirm wrapper and seal integrity during VHP exposure, along with Lecithin, Polysorbate 80, Sodium Thiosulphate, and L-Histidine.

The plates feature three protective layers (primary film with moisture control, secondary VHP barrier with desiccant, and tertiary dust cover) to reduce contamination risk, with novel elements enhancing moisture absorption.
