Product Description
This broth is used for the selective enrichment of Salmonella in specimens, as described in the United States Pharmacopoeia.
It’s recommended for examining water, wastewater, and food. The thiosulphate and tetrathionate combination suppresses coliforms, allowing Salmonella and Proteus to grow.
Bile salts inhibit non-intestinal organisms. It complies with USP standards.
