Turbidimetric kit for endotoxin testing

The PYROGENT-5000 Kinetic Turbidimetric LAL Assay is a quantitative, kinetic test for detecting Gram-negative bacterial endotoxin.

It works by monitoring turbidity changes in a sample mixed with LAL reagent, where gelling occurs in the presence of endotoxin-the time to gelling is inversely proportional to endotoxin concentration.

Measured at 340 nm with a sensitivity range of 0.01-100.0 EU/ml, this 96-well plate assay is ideal for laboratories processing high volumes of samples, including water, large volume parenterals, and medical device rinse water.
